Zigbee Consumption Breaker-TZ1-3P
WDYK Zigbee Consumption Breaker can collecting electricity consumption data, executing on/off commands, communicating with the gateway through the built-in Zigbee module, and storing the collected measurement data in the tuya platform for customer use. Moreover, signals can be transmitted between devices, and a gateway can also connect a large number of devices, making it ideal for building a whole house intelligent or regional energy management system
Core Functions and Key Selection Considerations
| Dimension | Key Specifications | Selection Recommendations |
|---|---|---|
| Communication | Zigbee 3.0, gateway required, low-power ad-hoc networking, transmission distance of approx. 10–30 meters (environment-dependent) | Prioritize Zigbee 3.0 devices; choose gateways compatible with Zigbee2MQTT/ZHA |
| Metering Accuracy | Commonly Class 1 (IEC62053‑21), error margin ≤±1% | Select Class 1 for billing scenarios; Class 2 is sufficient for general monitoring needs |
| Pole Count / Current | 1P/1P+N/2P/3P/4P; rated current 1–63A (residential use), up to 80A max (industrial use) | Match pole count to circuit loads; reserve a 20% current margin for safe operation |
| Protection Functions | Overload, short-circuit, over/under-voltage protection; optional leakage protection; power threshold trip | Equip air conditioners/electric water heaters with leakage-protection models; add over/under-voltage protection for sensitive equipment |
| Platform Compatibility | Tuya, Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, etc. | Adopt HA+Z2M for overseas applications; Tuya ecosystem is more user-friendly for domestic use |
